This powerful solo show stars recent Jessie Award-winning actress Elena Juatco as Emma, a teenager with a wild imagination whose views on sex, pregnancy, single motherhood, and of course, her mother, Dianne, will leave you laughing, crying, and enlightened.
"A touching, funny, laugh-out-loud comedy that can also open the tear ducts. Ron Fromstein's play has great insight and understanding of the way we need our mothers yet sometimes find it difficult to say so ... Unless you are cold of heart - and unable to feel empathy - Dianne & Me will send you out with a warm runny feeling inside. Don't miss it." - Gary Smith, Hamilton Spectator
Dianne & Me won the 2010 Hamilton Fringe Playwrighting Competition and was also featured at The Best of Fringe 2010 to open the new studio season at Theatre Aquarius.
Written by award-winning and up-and-coming playwright, Ron Fromstein.
Directed by Luke Brown, Artistic Associate of Theatre Aquarius.
The Vancouver International Fringe Festival takes place September 8 – 18th, 2011.
